(Ecns.cn) -- A man from Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality spent a "special night" on Longhushan Mountain in Yingtan, East China's Jiangxi Province – he slept with a 2,100-year-old mummy in an ancient tomb!

The man, with the web name "Zhizhudaxia," published a series of photos on his micro-blog on August 8, recording his one night sleepover in a cave tomb, a burial method prevalent among certain ethnic minorities in ancient China.

Sneaking into Longhushan Mountain after the staff at the scenic spot went to sleep, "Zhizhudaxia" wrote his first micro-blog of the night: "tonight is destined to be a special one!"

Climbing into a cave where the coffin lies, he put on a Taoist dress and performed a dance in front of the camera before sleeping on the coffin. He even cooked himself a meal in the cave.

Many people posted online to comment on the "insanity" of "Zhizhudaxia," who is now known by the nickname given to him by web users – "Brother Tomb."

"Sleeping with a 2,100-year-old mummy? That guy needs nerves of steel," one netizen commented on the pictures.

However, web users also raised the question of whether Brother Tomb's one night in the cave could have damaged the coffin, an ancient cultural relic.

The management authorities at Longhushan said they were not aware of such a sleepover, and only learned of it on the Internet afterward. His actions were a serious violation of the scenic spot's regulations, one of nine ancient cave-cemeteries in China.

"He even cooked on the coffin, which could have damaged it," said one official.
