(Ecns.cn)--After over 20 days of investigation, the Beijing police have solved a case which involved four prostitution rings with 27 foreign female prostitutes, according to the Beijing News, Monday.
The police arrested 112 suspects in total, 42 male suspects and 70 females. The large number of foreign prostitutes made it the biggest case so far in terms of foreign prostitutes in Beijing, said the Beijing police.
These four prostitution rings belong to four different ring leaders. In order to lure people, "employees" of these rings would issue cards that give information on their prostitution services to dwellers of different hotels.
After receiving phone calls or messages from their guests, the employees arranged for the prostitutes to go to the hotels.
Based on information received from the public and evidence collected by the police previously, a special police group of 340 policemen for the case was formed on September 6. By 11 p.m. on September 7, the police arrested these suspects, and found over 60,000 cards and 100 phones.
The suspects are still in custody while police are investigating the details of the case.
