A woman from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province created a serving of mini-dumplings so small they fit on the face of China's smallest coin, cnnb.com.cn reported on Friday.
Chen Guizhen said it took three hours to pinch and knead the 62 tiny dumplings, complete with a traditional lard and sesame filling stuffed using a sharp bamboo stick.
"I want to find an innovative way to promote Ningbo's lard dumplings," Chen said.
The mini meal is small enough to fit on the surface of a one-fen coin, which is 18 millimeters in diameter and equal to one-100th of 1 yuan ($0.16).
