Winners of Chinese culinary competition awarded in Bulgaria

A total of 30 Bulgarians were awarded on Monday for winning a Chinese culinary competition held in Bulgaria.

More than 10,000 people participated in the competition, which is called "The taste of China".

It was jointly organized by China Radio International and Confucius Institute in Sofia to mark the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bulgaria, according to the organizer.

Yin Yali, cultural counselor at the Chinese embassy in Sofia, said at the award ceremony the competition put a wonderful end of the series of events in honor of the friendship between China and Bulgaria.

In the competition, participants are required to post video footage showing their skills in categories such as "Masters with chopsticks" and "Masters with a knife".
