China convicts about 1. 18 mln criminal offenders in 2014

Chinese courts convicted more than 1.18 million criminal offenders in 2014, according to the work report of the Supreme People's Court Thursday.[Special coverage]

The number is 2.2 percent more than that of last year, said the report to be delivered to the national legislature at the ongoing annual session.
