A 3.9-magnitude quake struck Nyalam county of Xigaze in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region Thursday morning, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
An earlier report also from the center said the quake was at 4.9 magnitude.
The quake occurred at 8:56 a.m. at 28.7 degrees north latitude and 86.4 degrees east longitude with a depth of seven kilometers, the latest available report said. (Updated)
