China has temporarily closed its embassy in Yemen and its Consulate General in Aden, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying on Monday.
Hua said that all working staff at the Chinese Embassy in Yemen have left the country after assisting the evacuation of Chinese nationals, due to the worsening security conditions.
China evacuates last batch of citizens from Yemen
China has moved the last batch of 24 Chinese nationals from Yemen's western port of al-Hodayda to Djibouti on Monday, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Due to the worsening security conditions in Yemen, the working staff remaining at the Chinese Embassy in Yemen have also left the country, after assisting the last batch of Chinese nationals to evacuate. The Chinese Embassy in Yemen has temporarily closed. >>>
