A tour boat carrying about 100 tourists exploded and burst into flames near Thailand's Phuket Island on Wednesday afternoon, with one Israeli girl reportedly missing.
There were about 16 Chinese tourists on board when the accident happened at about 4 p.m. local time, China's consular office in Phuket said, citing a Chinese tourist who called the office for help.
The boat was then heading from Krabi province to Phuket, according to the office.
The police are now investigating the cause of the accident, the consular office said.
Meanwhile, according to Bangkok Post, a 12-year-old Israeli girl remains missing and rescue units are still searching for her.
