China's Ministry of Civil Affairs on Tuesday sent another batch of quake relief supplies to Tibet Autonomous Region to assist in its disaster relief work following Nepal earthquake in April.[Special coverage]
Tuesday's materials included 1,000 portable toilets, 10,000 camp beds, 10,000 tents and 100 sets of lighting equipment, according to a statement of the ministry.
Relief supplies to the region include at total of 30,000 tents, 65,000 coats, 65,000 quilts, 25,000 beds and 15,000 sleeping bags.
The 8.1-magnitude earthquake in Nepal on April 25 also affected the southwestern region of China, especially Xigaze City. The earthquake killed at least 26 people in Tibet, with more than 800 injured.
