A direct flight linking Yancheng City in east China's Jiangsu Province with the Japanese cities of Shizuoka and Osaka will be launched on May 28 and June 2 respectively, Yancheng Nanyang Airport announced on Thursday.
Served by an Airbus A319, the flights will be operated by China's Capital Airlines.
The Shizuoka flights will run every Thursday and Sunday. The outbound flight will depart from Yancheng at 12:35 a.m. and arrive in Shizuoka at 4:15 p.m. local time. The return flight will depart from Shizuoka at 5:15 p.m. local time and land in Yancheng at 7:25 p.m..
The Osaka flights will run every Tuesday and Friday. The outbound flight will depart from Yancheng at 10:35 a.m. and arrive in Osaka at 1:55 p.m. local time, and the return flight will depart from Osaka at 2:55 p.m. local time and land in Yancheng at 4:45 p.m..
Before the launch of these new services, Yancheng's only international flights were to Seoul and Bangkok.
