UAE city Dubai is promoting the city's tourism and business opportunities in Beijing with its first ever Dubai Week in China starting from Friday. An interactive exhibition has been built in Beijing's Sanlitun area allowing visitors to see, touch and taste Dubai's diverse cultures and Bedouin traditions. The exhibition will also show visitors how Dubai grew from a small village into a global metropolis.
Li Xiaolin, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, said that Dubai Week is a great step for China and the UAE. In addition, she said she hopes Dubai can play an important role in China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
Dubai Week comes to an end on May 15.
