Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with visiting President of the Peruvian Nationalist Party Nadine Heredia Alarcon in Beijing on Tuesday.
Li said the smooth development of China-Peru relations since the two countries forged diplomatic ties in November 1971 highlighted leaders' consensus on establishing an all-round strategic partnership.
The Communist Party of China has placed great importance on developing ties with the Peruvian Nationalist Party and would like to share more experience on state governance, Li said.
Nadine Heredia Alarcon said her visit bears witness to the close ties between the two countries and the two parties.
She said Peru stands ready to share experience with China on party building and governance.
