Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Liu Yunshan on Wednesday called for a more favorable political environment.
Liu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and head of the CPC Central Committee's Party School, was speaking during the opening ceremony for the second group of officials at the school's spring semester.
Liu suggested that Party rules should be further tightened to make sure that members adhere to rules and regulations. He also urged officials to be mindful when selecting and promoting cadres, to prevent the process from being tainted by corruption.
Liu called on officials to lead by example and build a favorable political environment.
