Tired of daily routines? Are you longing for a shower of colored powder? Those who participate in the Color Run can enjoy the fun of being "painted" with every imaginable color as they traverse the five-mile course.
The Color Run was introduced to China in 2013, and after two-year efforts, it is comparatively mature in scale and management, holding events in six cities.
The Color Run 2015 will open in Beijing in June.
Starting from the United States in 2011, the Color Run has grown into the largest event series around the world. It is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants, or "Color Runners", are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer.
After crossing the finishing line, the runners head to the Finish Festival, an outdoor party filled with music, dancing, giveaways and, you guessed it, more color dousing.
What are you running for? Fitness, fun or accomplishment? No matter which reason mentioned above, you will enjoy yourself in the process. In brief, the Color Run is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality.
It is the time to unleash your inner sparkle. Put on your white T-shirt and prepare to have a "colorful" day!
