A bilingual Bulgarian-Chinese version of the multimedia project "Hello, China" that includes a book, five DVDs and a website, was presented here on Wednesday.
The edition, jointly published by China Radio International (CRI) and the Bulgarian company Entropi-1, represents 100 key terms describing traditional Chinese culture, from Confucius to calligraphy, to kung fu and silk.
The presentation ceremony, held in the building of the Union of Bulgarian Journalists (UBJ), was attended by over 50 sinologists, students and a visiting delegation from the All-China Journalists Association (ACJA).
"I think this book would be very useful for deepening the knowledge of Bulgarians towards China," said Zhu Shouchen, executive secretary of ACJA.
Snezhana Todorova, president of UBJ, said in turn the publication would be interesting for anyone who wanted to learn more about China's successes.
Stanislava Pekova, manager of Entropi 1, told Xinhua "Hello, China" was its third joint project with the CRI, after publishing the recipe book "The Kitchen of the Heart" and "Encyclopedia of China" in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
