Two kids were killed and 21 others injured after a kindergarten bus slid into a roadside pond in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said local authorities on Friday.
The bus was carrying 24 kids and a teacher when it veered off a rural road and crashed into a pond while on its way to a village kindergarten in Guiping City on Friday morning, said the city's government.
One unharmed child was taken away by his parents from the scene. Twenty-one children were rushed to hospital. Three of them were in serious condition.
The driver, teacher and two managers of the kindergarten have been questioned by police.
The local government is investigating the accident. Downpours have lashed Guangxi and other southern China provinces in the past few days.
