Hosts China beat Vietnam 3-0 in Tianjin on Sunday to remain unbeaten in the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
Zeng Chunlei and Zhang Changning combined a 4-0 opening for the host before Vietnam surpassed with 5-4 by serving and blocking. But their turnovers cost them a 5-11 deficit. China won the first set 25-11.
Vietnam didn't seem to improve in reducing turnovers while China demonstrated domination over the net as they triumphed in the second set with another 25-11. The third set witnessed again a 25-11 with Zhang Changning and Yuan Xinyue' s blocks.
China had 10 points in blocking while Vietnam had four. Zhang Changning led the host with 15 points.
China now rank first in Group E.
Next Monday, the tournament will have a day off.
Next Tuesday, the hosts will meet Kazakhstan who now sits at the bottom of Group F.
