Hosts China are closer to revenge after they eased into the last eight in women's volleyball Asian Championship.
China will face Kazakhstan on Tuesday while defending champions Thailand meet Japan. Should China win, they will set up a clash with the winner between Thailand and Japan.
China also have the chance to clash with South Korea if both teams fight their way into the semifinals. Beaten by Thailand and South Korea in the 2013 championship, the Chinese team is seeking a revenge.
"Asian championship provides a valuable opportunity for my team to test their ability, especially when they meet Thailand," said China head coach Lang Ping.
"I have known the Thai team for about a decade and their performance impressed me. South Korea is also a team with great techniques," said Lang.
"The matches against them will be the true tests for my team."
China breezed past Vietnam 3-0 here on Sunday to remain unbeaten in the championship and rank first in Group E.
South Korea, edging Thailand 3-2 to rank the first in Group F, square off against Iran in the last eight.
