Han Zhiran, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region Committee, has been removed from office for "serious discipline violations", the regional CPPCC committee announced on Tuesday.
The Standing Committee meeting of the CPPCC National Committee removed Han from the CPPCC National Committee on Wednesday.
