Middle schools and primary schools in Beijing plan to implement new health check measures, where everyday, morning and noon, all the students, including students who have been absent from school, will be asked whether they are feeling well, the Beijing Times reported.
Teachers are expected to report to health officials at the Beijing Center for Diseases Prevention and Control whether any of their students are suffering from symptoms like fever, cough, diarrhea or vomiting. The health checks are part of an effort to ensure that schools identify whether students have infections diseases as early as possible.
