Two Chinese workers were wounded by a group of burglars early Sunday morning in Angola's capital Luanda.
Six burglars stormed into the room of the Chinese workers in Benfica district at about 0:10 a.m. local time. They attacked them with sticks and clubs, and searched the room for property before fleeing with two mobile phones and two gas cylinders robbed from the Chinese, the victims told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Their colleagues later found the two injured in the room and hurried to take them to a local Chinese clinic. The two workers are in stable condition.
Angolan police have arrested two of the burglars and a manhunt for the other four is underway.
The two victims were working for a Chinese company operating in Angola.
