The Chinese volleyball club of Liaoning on Sunday defeated DPR Korea 3-0 at the 2015 International Women's Volleyball Tournament, VTV Cup, which runs from July 25 to August 1 in southern Vietnam's Bac Lieu province.
Taking advantage of height and blocking skills, the Liaoning team made the game fairly easy for them, winning three straight sets with scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-19.
Chinese players have an average height of 1.84m, while their rivals have an average of 1.74m.
In the first set, Liaoning maintained their lead over DPR Korea by three to four points for most of time, although they made several bad serves.
In the second set and first half of the third, Liaoning and DPR Korea players vied for a single point frequently.
Liaoning, one of China's eight leading women volleyball teams, beat Thailand 3-0 on Saturday, while the Chinese club of Nanjing lost 3-0 to DPR Korea.
