The Iran Fisheries Organization says it's considering the release of 10 Chinese fishing boats confiscated near Iran's southwestern coast. The ships were bound for Bandar Abbas and were approaching Iran to replenish their supplies when they were seized last week.
The deputy chairman of the fishing organization -- Ali Asghar Mojahedi -- says the boats had entered Iranian waters in coordination with Iran and weren't involved in any illegal fishing. He says the "Maritime Security Committee" intercepted the boats solely for more investigation.
