A film screen in South China's Guangdong Province on Wednesday earned its place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest.
The screen in the Chime-long Ocean Kingdom in the city of Zhuhai was certificated by Rowan Simons, president of Guinness Worlds Records in China.
Eighty-eight meters long and 18 meters high, it can offer 4K resolution images, about four times that of normal screens, with the help of 12 projectors.
The 5D cinema auditorium, which was opened to public on June 1, is about 3,000 square meters and can host more than 1,000 viewers. It has been showing a 13-minute animated film.
