U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice will visit China later this week, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said on Tuesday.
During Rice's stay in China from Friday to Saturday, the Chinese and and U.S. sides will exchange views on bilateral ties and other major issues of both concern, Spokesman Lu Kang said in a press release.
They will prepare for Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to the United States in September at the invitation of U.S. President Barack Obama, according to the spokesman.
