Four people were killed and one critically injured when a warehouse in central China's Hubei Province caught fire on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of a five-story workshop at Tuochuang industrial park in Wuhan, capital of Hubei, at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Twenty-four fire engines with more than 100 firefighters rushed to the scene to quench the blaze. Witnesses told Xinhua they heard blasts and saw people jump from the building.
The fire has been put out.
The warehouse keeps auto interior materials and cleaning agents. Owners of the building have been put under police custody.
The accident is still being investigated.
