A street stand in Nanjing selling fried rice has had off-the-chart business as foodies crowd the location for a taste. Police even had to show up to keep order, reported Modern Express on Sept 1.

The food stand is located near Confucius Temple, a famous scenic spot in Nanjing, Jiangsu province and is open for business from 12:00 am to 5:00 am everyday, making it a hotspot for night owls.

However, a long line of more than 300 people queued up for the fried rice, including many people who have luxury cars who specifically drove there to have a bite.

According to one of the waiting customers, the fried rice is fried with natural heavy gravy made with stewed pork, chicken and ribs, combined with some stewed vegetables. Its cheap price makes it extremely attractive as a night-time snack.

But the huge crowd caused problems for the police. Due to the traffic jam, police were called in to handle the crowd and had to persuade the stand owner to move off the street to other places.
