Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CCDI) Zhao Hongzhu met with Jurgen Stock, Secretary-General of Interpol in Lyon, France on Monday.

The two exchanged views on cooperation between China and Interpol on anti-corruption.

Zhao briefed Stock about the progress of China's anti-corruption efforts, reiterating China's determination to fight against corruption and establish global cooperation.

China appreciates Interpol's effort in the active hunting for Chinese criminals absconding abroad, said Zhao, adding that China is ready to deepen cooperation in the exchange of information, particularly in the tracing of fugitives and recovering of illegal proceedings.

Stock said Interpol has always maintained cooperation with China at a very high level, and is now paying close attention to and thinking very high of China's determination, effort and efficiency in the fight against corruption.

Interpol will continue to strongly support China's anti-corruption operation, Stock added.
