A program was launched on Thursday to help 101 returned overseas students who have obtained doctorate degrees in Britain to start their own businesses.
The program, lasting for five days, will link the PhDs with investors and business regulators via forums, road-shows, and tours of industrial parks.
These 101 PhDs have prepared 86 projects which have the potential to be translated into real business projects.
The projects are based on their research in fields spanning smart manufacturing, medicine and biology, environmental protection and Internet, among other subjects.
Beijing's Fangshan Zhongguancun Science Park and a science park of northeastern city Shenyang will sign over 30 contracts with participating PhDs regarding project and human resource cooperation.
The program is organized by the Chinese Overseas Educated Scholars Association and All-China Students' Federation.
