The International Association of World War II Museums was founded recently in Beijing, and the first members joining the association are 35 World War II museums from 11 countries, the Beijing Times reported. [Special coverage]
The association was jointly founded by China and Russia. Other members include the U.S., South Korea, Italy and Japan. It will increase communication and cooperation among the member museums. In 2016, the member museums will send delegations to Russia and jointly hold a large-scale anti-war exhibition there.
