A fire broke out at a shopping mall in Ningde, East China's Fujian province, on Wednesday morning, trapping more than 100 kindergarten children.
By 2:00 pm, all the children were rescued safely and those with injures were transported to hospital, according to the official account of Fujian Public security fire brigade on Sina Weibo, China's micro-blogging platform.
The blaze started in one of the stores on the first floor of the mall and then spread to the kindergarten located on the second floor.
The cause of the fire and the casualty numbers are not yet known.
