Two twin pandas were born Wednesday morning at a breeding center in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

A 14-year-old panda named Qinghe, whose name means "celebration," gave birth to two female cubs at 11:25 a.m. and 11:56 a.m. respectively, according to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

The cubs, each weighing around 150 grams, were the sixth pair of twins born in the breeding center this year.

The birth process was streamed at kankan.com, a Chinese online video platform, and Niconico, a Japanese video sharing website. The videos had gained some 120,000 views as of 4 p.m.

The base boasts the world's largest giant panda breeding community, with 151 giant pandas in total.
