A study room on Chinese language and culture was inaugurated at Hung Vuong University in Vietnam's northern Phu Tho province on Tuesday.
Speaking during the inaugural ceremony, Cultural Counselor of the Chinese embassy in Vietnam Liu Sanzhen said China and Vietnam have been witnessing closer economic and trade relations.
The demand for Vietnamese employees with proficient Chinese language skill is increasing, said Liu, expressing his hope that teachers and students at Hung Vuong University will make good use of the study room in order to improve their knowledge about China and Chinese language skill.
Liu also hoped that teachers and students of Hung Vuong University will use their knowledge to promote and deepen the friendship between the two countries and peoples, contribute to the friendship.
