Hong Kong police Wednesday laid a holding charge against two men, who attacked and killed a tourist form Chinese mainland, jointly with one count of manslaughter.
The duo were arrested in suspected connection with a manslaughter case on Man Lok Street in Hung Hom on Monday, in which a 54-year-old man died. The two men will appear before Kowloon City Magistrates' Courts on Thursday.
The police also arrested two women, aged 32 and 53, for fighting in a public place. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries and are required to report back to the police in late October.
The victim died at a Hong Kong hospital on Tuesday morning after he was allegedly beaten unconscious by the duo on Monday while mediating in a shopping dispute.
Family members of the victim arrived at Hong Kong on Wednesday evening, an official from Hong Kong Tourism Board told Xinhua.
