An HK$4.8 million Ferrari suffered damage after the driver, claiming he was trying to avoid hitting an animal, veered left but lost control and crashed into a hillside on a road in Hong Kong early Monday morning.
The Ferrari 458 Spider, driven by its owner, Lee Chung, 41, was travelling along Bowen Road towards the Western district when the crash happened at about 1:15 am.
Fortunately, the driver escaped injury. He passed a breathalyzer test carried out by police and no one was arrested.
The case is under further investigation.
