China's top graft buster Wang Qishan on Friday urged all discipline inspectors to take note of a key meeting on China's development plan for the next five years.

Held from Oct. 26 to 29, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) approved proposals for the country's 13th Five-Year Plan of National Economic and Social Development from 2016 to 2020.

Wang, secretary of the CPC's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, told discipline watchdogs at all levels to safeguard the authority of the CPC Central Committee and ensure all policies were implemented properly.

Discipline inspectors were told to be committed to the anti-corruption campaign and consolidate the Party's ruling foundation, according to a statement released after the meeting.

It called for rigid discipline and strengthened supervision to support the CPC leadership.
