President Xi Jinping will pay state visits to Vietnam and Singapore next week. The Chinese President will firstly make a two-day visit to Vietnam next Thursday. He will meet with the general-secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese President.
The leaders will have in-depth exchanges on bilateral relations, regional affairs, and will discuss cooperation on topics including infrastructure building, trade, culture exchange and education. President Xi will also meet the Vietnamese youth delegations and speak at Vietnam's National Assembly.
Then he will pay another visit to Singapore in the following two days, where he will meet with his Singaporean counterpart. Both leaders will exchange views on bilateral affairs, and seek further cooperation on finance, education, technology and urban governance. This year marks the 25th anniversary of both countries' diplomatic ties. President Xi will also attend the opening ceremony of the Chinese Cultural Center in Singapore.
