The largest traditional Chinese painting ever created will go on display on Friday in a gallery in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
At 123 meters long and three meters tall, the painting of a Tibetan landscape and locals going about their daily lives is on thick traditional Chinese paper.
It is titled Beautiful Tibet and took 20 artists four years to create.
After the show at the Lhasa Public Cultural and Sports Center, it will be taken for exhibitions in Beijing and Shanghai as part of a publicity campaign marking the 50th anniversary of Tibet's establishment as an autonomous region.
