A service helicopter crashed in a mountainous area of New Taipei City Sunday morning, killing two people.
Two pilots were found dead at the site. The two passengers on board were taken to hospital, said the local fire department.
The helicopter belonged to a local aviation firm, contracted by the Taiwan Power Company to clean pylons.
The fire department said they suspected that the chopper's rotor was accidentally tangled with the wires while cleaning a pylon, which led to the crash.
No collateral damage on the ground was reported.
