Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend a meeting of the International Syria Support Group as well as a meeting of the UN Security Council on issues in Syria on Friday in New York, United States.
After the meetings, Wang will co-chair a China-Germany dialogue on diplomacy and security and pay an official visit to Cyprus, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said.
