Alitalia
Alitalia said on Friday that it has signed a new codeshare agreement with China Southern that covers 28 destinations in Italy and China.
Alitalia will place its "AZ" code on the new China Southern service and to seven more flights beyond Wuhan to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Qingdao, Chengdu and Wenzhou.
China Southern's "CZ" flight code will be placed on a range of flights operated by Alitalia in Italy, including the new Rome-Santiago service that will start in May 2016. China Southern also has codeshare services with Virgin America, covering 25 routes in the U.S..
Hainan Airlines
Hainan Airlines on Wednesday opened two routes from Xi'an, one to Tokyo and one to Sydney. The route to Tokyo will have three flights per week. The route to Sydney will run twice a week.
So far, Hainan Airlines has opened more than 500 routes at home and abroad, covering nearly 90 cities in Asia, Europe and North America.
Jetstar
Jetstar Asia on Saturday launched a route from Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou Province, to Singapore. The service will be operated by Jetstar Asia on behalf of Wenzhou United Airlines Service, based in East China's Zhejiang Province.
Emirates
Emirates recently launched its Chinese-language mobile site. Chinese customers who visit emirates.com.cn on their mobile devices will be redirected to the new mobile-friendly site, where they can book flights, upgrade their class of travel, manage their bookings, as well as view and download their boarding passes, all in Chinese language.
