On January 6, the Palace Museum will be opened to Beijing bus drivers and conductors for free. Starting this Monday, attendees can register single or group reservations online, the Beijing Daily reported. Tickets are limited to one per person.
Since this November, the museum has reserved the first Wednesday of every month as a free, themed open day, to extend through the off-peak season. So far, 4,923 medical service staff and volunteers along with 1,302 active duty soldiers and police have visited the museum for free.
University and college teachers and students will get their chance on February 3, and sanitation workers on March 2.
