Chinese universities are starting to use their own diploma certificates this year after the government stopped requiring them to use a standardized design.
Beijing's prestigious Peking University unveiled its new diploma certificates on Tuesday. They will be granted to about 1,000 graduates next week.
The university said the certificates highlight Chinese culture and were created after a public consultation.
They are dark red for doctors, blue for masters and green for bachelors. They feature anti-counterfeiting technology and come with an English copy.
