One patient has died of H7N9 bird flu in east China's Zhejiang Province, local health authorities said on Tuesday.
The death was reported on Jan. 8 at Keqiao District of Shaoxing City. Authorities didn't disclose further information about the patient.
H7N9 is a bird flu strain first reported to have infected humans in March 2013 in China. It is most likely to strike in winter and spring.
Another two H7N9 patients, including one critically ill, were reported in Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province on Monday.
