Giant Panda cub Bei Bei who was born in last August made his first public debut on Saturday at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C.
Thousands of visitors are expected to come to see Bei Bei on Saturday, a zoo volunteer who only gave her name as Barbara told Xinhua.
Bei Bei is a male Panda born by his mother Mei Xiang last August.
Being videoed and photoed by the cheering people, Bei Bei seemed to focus only on eating his breakfast -- bamboos. The little cutie's every move made the crowd cheer and laughing.
A visitor named Brooke who came with her daughter and son said, Bei Bei is "so tiny", "so cute" and "so sweet", and her kids like panda very much.
"We need to save them", said Brooke who declined to give her full name, "I think they represent a gentle, loving nature."
Bei Bei is the third cub born in the National Zoo after Tai Shan was born in 2005 and Bao Bao in 2013.
Tai Shan lives now in China.
