Railway services in east China's Fujian Province have been resumed after an earthquake struck Taiwan early Saturday morning, delaying several trains in the region.
The G1654, G6474 and D2347 trains between Xiamen and Fuzhou administrated by the Nanchang railway bureau were delayed by 30 minutes while other train services were not affected.
At least 11 people, including a new-born infant, were killed and 462 injured when a powerful, shallow earthquake struck southern Taiwan just two days ahead of the traditional Chinese New Year.
The 6.7-magnitude quake hit Kaohsiung city at a depth of 15 kilometers at 3:57 a.m. Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. Local monitoring authorities put the scale of the quake at 6.4-magnitude.
