Beijing police have banned low-flying activities related to sports, entertainment and advertising in the city from March 1 to 16.
According to a notice issued by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau on Monday, such activities outside the three areas are allowed when approved by the air control department in the city.
Any individual or organization will be subjected to punishment by the public security department as well as aviation authorities if the regulation is violated.
