Following are the schedules for the fourth sessions of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Friday.[Special coverage]
NPC:
-- A preparatory meeting for the Fourth Session of the 12th NPC will be held Friday morning to elect a presidium and set the agenda of the session.
-- At 11 a.m., the spokesperson for the NPC session will give a press conference on the agenda of the session and issues related to the work of the NPC at the Great Hall of the People, ahead of the session's opening on March 5.
CPPCC:
-- At 9 a.m., members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions on the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, and on the report about the work of the CPPCC National Committee's handling of proposals.
-- At 3 p.m., members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will continue panel discussions on the two reports.
