Following are the schedules for the fourth sessions of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Wednesday.[Special coverage]
NPC:
-- NPC deputies will attend panel deliberations to examine the central and local budgets in the morning.
-- At 3 p.m., the NPC will hold a plenary meeting, at which Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, will deliver a report on the work of the NPC Standing Committee. Li Jianguo, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, will elaborate the draft law on charity.
CPPCC:
-- Members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions about the national economic and social development plan and the central and local budgets all day.
-- At 9 a.m., five members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will give a press conference on the development of people's livelihood at the press center of the two sessions.
