As the 2016 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup concluded here on Tuesday, China topped the standings with impressive 12 medals.
In Bangkok's high wind, Matthew Emmons claimed the gold in today's 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men event, making the United States the second best team on the medal tally with one gold and one silver.
China took the lead since the opening day when Yang Haoran and Yi Siling respectively won the men's and women's 10m air rifle events. Yang, who was described as "phenomenon" on ISSF website, set the new junior final world record of 209.8 points.
The second day witnessed Zhang Jingjing taking the third gold medal for China in the women's 25m pistol final on the next day. The Beijing 2008 and London 2012 champion Guo Wenjun secured the women's 10m air pistol gold medal on Sunday followed by Zhang Fusheng's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol gold medal on Monday.
Brazil, Denmark, Germany and India ranked the third with one gold medal each.
A total of 330 athlete coming from 49 countries and regions took part in the first stop of the ISSF World Cup Series here in Bangkok.
